Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
I read this in a forwarded email, in someone's signature today. (Not the point of the email). I really, really like the thought.

Lovely idea. And true. You never know the reason that someone isn't as sweet as they could be. It might be something trivial, but what if it's not?
